Movie Night For The Kids

Mitchell Elementary School, located in Tampa, Florida just celebrated their centennial anniversary. Since Steven's kids attend this school, this was a big deal for he and his wife who serves on the PTA while they are both active parents with the school.

In celebration of their 100 years as an established learning facility, the school hosted a movie night on the outdoor lawn airing Disney’s “The Parent Trap II”. What’s interesting about the movie is that much of it was filmed right here in Tampa – including both the interior and exterior of Mitchell Elementary School. Footage of Tampa International Airport and The Press Box can also be seen in the film.

Speakers, screens and projectors were required for the event, in which both HABANA and Molecular Media were more than happy to provide event coordination and setup. We were able to donate all of the audio and visual expertise for this special event with the kids.

HABANA + Molecular Take on The Great Gatsby for a great cause

HABANA and our parent company Molecular Media recently had the opportunity to work with a great local charity.

Gorrie Elementary held a Great Gatsby themed fundraiser at the beautiful Don Vicente Hotel in Ybor City. With the need for an impressive audio/visual presence, and with all proceeds going to the school and its students, our friends knew who to call. The wife of one of HABANA’s most appreciated partners, Tank Design, was very grateful that we could help the school achieve it’s fundraising goal.

Donating all of the necessary gear, and providing two experienced technicians, HABANA and Molecular were instrumental in helping the school put on an incredible event. Providing bright projection and a thumping sound system, made the donation request video a real hit with the patrons and students alike.

We are happy to have been a part of this successful event and look forward to future charitable endeavors.
